A Rise in Satanism Manifesting in the West

In a few months the first public satanic monument will be erected in the United States.  The town of Belle Plaine, MN, will be the lucky recipient.  Ironically, it will be constructed in a portion of the town's war memorial.

The Washington Post originally reported this story, but it is evident that this phenomena is neither random nor singular.  Last year we reported the opening of the satanic temple's headquarters in Salem, MA.  And there were many other instances of satanic "black mass" type meetings throughout the US in the past few years.

Worldwide, the phenomena seemingly continues to grow. Catholics are reporting a rise in the requests for rites of exorcism. And bizarre demonic rituals, such as the opening of the Gotthard Tunnel in Switzerland leave one to wonder if there is a concerted spiritual uprising.

As followers of Christ we must not only combat this evil groundswell through prayer and fasting, but we must instruct others how to detect and defeat such things.  The battle is real my brothers and sisters.

Some Sources Conclude Assad Did Not Use Chemical Weapons

Many sources are now saying that it is very unlikely President Bashar al Assad launched a chemical attack against his own people.  Not the least of which, President Assad himself denies the attacks.  In an interview on 4/13/17, after the attack, President Assad asserted that the Syrian army does not have chemical weapons and that any attack on his own people would not make any sense.  He asked why people would believe he would do such a thing, especially when this was not a militarily important position.

“[I]t doesn’t make any sense for Assad under these conditions to all of a sudden use poison gasses,” says former Congressman Ron Paul.  The former representative for Texas felt there was, “zero chance” of Assad being behind the chemical attacks, and that the 2013 gas attacks were never proven. 

Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister recently stated, “There’s growing evidence that this [attack] was staged.” The Russian government cites inconsistencies in the stories emanating from news outlets in both the U.S. and the U.K.

Isaiah 17:1 says about the Syrian capitol: "Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city and will become a fallen ruin."  We know this passage speaks of the future because Damascus today is the same city as it was then, and nothing ruinous has happened to her until recently.  Now, however, there are haunting pictures and videos which show the city in ruins. Only one thing still remains, that Damascus be "removed from being a city" as it says in the scriptures. -P

Same Look, New Mission

Last year's election cycle brought to light many questions with regard to the "reality" under which Christians live in the West.  Questions of free speech, freedom of religion, and rights of life, liberty, and property have arisen through observable acts of the media and actors within the government.  These acts are not only an affront to our God-given rights, but also to the God who provided those rights to all people, everywhere.
 
Time is moving faster toward that day when the Lord Jesus is coming again.  Will we be those "faithful servants" who are working diligently and waiting eagerly for His return?  If so, we need to be vigilant with regard to those prophetic signs listed in the Scripture.  We are the sentries on the wall who watch for the enemy's approach.

I believe the enemy approaches.

This blog is not meant to be political, though some politics may crossover into the paradigm.  It is meant to be a clarion call for those who hold to the name of Christ without compunction, and without fear.  Jesus told His disciples that if the branch of the fig tree becomes tender, it means that spring is near. The branch is tender and is now beginning to leaf, "so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door." (Matt 24:33)
